Inspired by our Wallowa 5-Panel Camp Hat, the new Wallowa Trail Hat shares the same cut and comfort of its predecessor, but with added stretch mesh side panels for more breathability on warmer or more rigorous excursions. Designed with trail running, fast packing, climbing, and hot days in mind, the featherweight and packable Wallowa Trail’s fabric wipes clean in a pinch and can be worn out on the town to celebrate sending a new problem or PR-ing your local loop.

…which is be a really good hat for the backcountry. Would give 4.75 if I could, just because for my particular head I wish it was deeper (taller). It’s hyper breathable, crushable, with a brim long enough to really shade your face. Big fan.

…But I wish it fit better. Even at the tightest setting the hat is just reasonably snug (not tight) and would blow off in a high wind setting.
