What exactly is the Goods That Give Back™ Program?
The Goods That Give Back™ program is a commitment on behalf of Tillak to allocate the equivalent of 25% of the profits generated from the sale of all of our products toward toward outdoor recreation and conservation-related environmental stewardship efforts.
What is a B Corp™?
Certified B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab® to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. To be certified as a B Corp™, a company must score at least 80/200 points on their B Impact assessment.

Where are Tillak products made?
Tillak products are designed and tested rigorously on the West Coast of the United States. The majority of Tillak products are produced by our carefully chosen manufacturing partners overseas – chosen for their abilities to source materials and manufacture products responsibly, while maintaining high quality standards and expert workmanship. We partner with manufacturers who represent the absolute best in the industry.
Materials, Health & Safety
What materials are used for Tillak water bottles?
Tillak Metolius water bottles are constructed of double wall, micro-welded 18/8 stainless steel. The lids are constructed of BPA-free recycled polypropylene.
What paint is used on Tillak water bottle products?
Tillak Metolius water bottles are coated with a highly durable, leach-free and aluminum-free Duripan powder coat finish.
Do Tillak bottles contain or leach any potentially harmful chemicals, like BPA?
They do not. All of our bottles are manufactured of BPA-free 18/8 stainless steel, BPA-Free polypropylene lids, and leach-free powder coating.
What materials are used for Tillak dry bags and waterproof gear?
Tillak waterproof gear is constructed of TPU laminated (both one side and two side) nylon and sonically welded nylon and ripstop nylon fabrics. Our nylon fabrics are sourced from suppliers that meet Cordura® and/or REACH specifications for durability, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility.
What materials are used for Tillak Sitka camp chairs?
Tillak Sitka chairs are constructed of 210 Denier ripstop nylon, extruded 7075 aircraft grade aluminum, recycled PP, and recycled HDPE.
What materials are used for Tillak Wallowa hats?
Tillak Wallowa hats are constructed of woven nylon fabric, woven nylon webbing, and recycled PP bill material.
What materials are used for Tillak Olancha merino beanies?
Tillak Olancha beanies are constructed of 100% 18.5 micron Merino wool fibers.
What materials are used for Tillak Shasta inflatable mattresses?
Tillak Shasta mattresses are constructed of sonically welded 20D Ripstop woven nylon with internal TPU lamination.
What materials are used for Tillak Bubo inflatable pillows?
Tillak Bubo pillows are constructed of 30D 4-way stretch, knit polyester fabric with internal TPU lamination.
Accounts & Orders
How do I create an account?
In the upper right corner of every page, there is an icon titled My Account (we did our best to make it look like a person). Go to the account page, enter an email and password to create an account.
How do I edit my account information?
To edit account information, you must first login to your account. From there you can edit your address and other details. If you need help changing other information please email us at [email protected].
I forgot my password. What the heck do I do?!
If you have forgotten your password, just click “I forgot my password” on the “My Account” login page, and our helpful robots will walk you through that process.
How do I check my order status?
You can check the status of your order by clicking on “My Account” and then selecting “View Orders.” This will take you to a page that provides the status of your current and past orders, and tracking information, if applicable.
Can I cancel or make changes to my order after placing it?
We process, pack and ship orders as quickly as possible. If you need to make changes or cancel an order, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.
Please note that we are unable to cancel an order once it has been shipped.
How do I use a coupon code?
To apply a coupon code, enter the code in the “discount code” box on the shopping cart page online and click "apply". Your discount will apply and your total will adjust once the code has been entered. Cheers, you just saved some cash!
Shipping & Returns
Warranty & Return Policy
Tillak offers a lifetime warranty for manufacturer defects on all products. Please note that normal wear and tear, including tears, punctures, cracks, holes, scratches, dents, leaks, dings, and other marks or signs that you’ve been having lots of fun with our products are not covered under Tillak’s warranty. Manufacturer defects include but are not limited to: significant cosmetic flaws, leaks, rough welds, damaged seams, and any damages or flaws sustained prior to first use. If your product has sustained any of the aforementioned damage, or for further clarification or questions regarding Tillak’s return policy, please shoot us an email at [email protected].
We stand behind our product, but most importantly, we want you to like it! If you are unhappy with your purchase and wish to return an item that has no manufacturer defect, you may do so if the returned goods are in perfect, unused condition. We do not set a time limit on returns, though we ask that returns for fit or color be made in a timely manner and that items are kept in new condition with tags attached. We accept both current season and discounted items for return. If a returned item is received by Tillak and damaged due to negligent packaging or re-packaging by the customer, we will be unable to issue a refund. We can issue you a refund or web-store credit for exchange. To initiate a return of any kind, please email us at [email protected].
Do I have to pay for shipping?
Tillak offers free shipping within the United States on orders totaling $40 or more, before taxes and discounts. If a total order value of $40 is not met, then a shipping charge will be applied to your final order. We do our best to keep our products housed within a two-day’s distance from your door – so we can keep shipping quick, cheap, and efficient.
Do you ship internationally?
We do ship to select international locations, although international shipping rates will be applied to your order total. To find out how much shipping will cost, you can select the product(s) you want, and begin the checkout process to see a listing of shipping rates available to choose from before you finalize your order. Please note that Tillak is not responsible for the duties and taxes that your country may charge for importing products. Tillak does not collect or control these fees, which may be charged after you place your order, upon import. We apologize for having less control over foreign policy – we are working on it (not really though).
When will my order ship?
We do our absolute best to ship your order within 1 business day of purchase, M-F (even when the waves are firing or the powder is piling up!). During the holiday season, we may become backlogged and the process can take longer. Exceptions may occur if there is a question regarding your order, in which case we will contact you directly. Wrong Address/Lost Package Policy
Please note that the purchaser is responsible for inputting the correct shipping address. If an incorrect or incomplete address is entered, Tillak will not be responsible for replacing the product. The purchaser is also responsible for making sure that the shipping address entered is a secure address. As a small business, Tillak can not cover the cost of lost or stolen packages, nor can we interact with the shipping company to locate your lost package if the tracking information states that it was delivered to the shipping address. If the shipping company declares the package as having been delivered, then we will assume that it was delivered and that something must have happened to the package at its destination.
If a package comes back to us as "undeliverable" or as "insufficient" or as a "wrong address," the purchaser will be charged for shipping the package to its proper destination (even if the order originally warranted free or reduced shipping). Or, if the purchaser prefers, we can issue a refund for that purchase, minus the initial cost of our shipping the goods to you.
Note we cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping due to weather or acts beyond our control.

I don’t want it. How do I return my order?
If you changed your mind on any product purchased, and it is in unused, and in perfect condition, we will gladly process a return for you. Please note that we do not accept returns if the product has been used - aside from products that possess manufacturer defects and qualify for warranty (see above). Regardless, you can contact us about any return questions you may have at [email protected].
Pricing & Billing
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Tillak has a significant business presence in most states and is therefore required to collect sales tax on all applicable purchases. Sales tax is calculated based on shipping address and will not be charged for orders shipping to states in which no sales tax is due.
I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.
If you log-in to your account, you will see your "Order History." Click on the order number to see a full detail page of your order.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged directly upon purchase of product.
Why does my bank statement show multiple transactions for the same order?
When you place an order, you will see a pre-authorization on your account. This hold allows us to verify that funds are available and enables us to proceed with processing your order. When your items ship, a final charge is processed for the item(s) shipped. In some circumstances, your bank will show this final charge separately from the pre-authorization, making it appear like a duplicate charge. However, the pre-authorization hold will drop from your account within 3–5 business days, depending on the policies of your bank, and your account will reflect only the final charge.
When will my credit appear on my account?
If you are requesting a refund or store credit for a returned product, this amount will appear back on your form of payment, or on your Tillak account, once the return process is fully completed. Where the refund ends up will be clearly stated during your interaction with our support team. Sitka Camp Chair
How do I assemble my Sitka Camp Chair?
The Sitka's leg and frame poles come already connected and organized by elastic cord - similar to a tent pole. Simply shake or slide the poles into the black plastic joints, and affix the four gusseted corners of the 420D ripstop nylon seat to the four points of the frame (without feet), and then you're ready to take a load off. What is the weight capacity of the Sitka Camp Chair?
The Sitka Camp Chair will support up to 300 pounds of seated weight. Keep in mind that the Sitka Camp Chair’s ultralight frame is designed to support seated weight, so activities and uses aside from sitting that result in damage to the Sitka will not be covered under Tillak’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
What are the dimensions of the Sitka Camp Chair?
A collapsed Sitka in its stuff sack is compact 14 inches by 5 inches. The height at the back of an assembled Sitka is 25.5 inches; the width is 21.5 inches; the distance from the front of the seat to the back of the seat (depth) is 22 inches. When sitting in a Sitka Camp Chair you are approximately 15 inches above the ground.
Does the Sitka Camp Chair come with a warranty?
We stand behind our gear, so all Tillak products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects.
Olancha Merino Beanie
What size is the Olancha beanie?
The Olancha beanie has the inherent stretch characteristics of Merino wool, so it can accommodate a wide range of head sizes; specifically from around 17" to 26" in circumference (measured parallel to the ground, just above the ears).
How do I wash my Olancha beanie?
Merino wool has natural anti-microbial properties, and as such, will require much less washing than a cotton, acrylic, or fleece beanie. But when it does need washing, it can be washed by hand with mild detergent and air dried, or machine washed on low temperature, with mild detergent, on a delicate cycle, and air dried. Do not machine tumble dry your Olancha beanie. Do not use bleach, powder detergents, or fabric softeners to clean your Olancha beanie.
Is the length of the Olancha beanie adjustable?
Yes. The Olancha beanie is designed to be either worn as a cuffed beanie, or a slouchy beanie by simply rolling up or unrolling the bottom 2.5" of material. The woven logo is designed to compatible/right-side-up with both styles.
My Olancha beanie has become "stretched out", is there any way to fix it?
Yes. The Merino wool fibers will contract back to their original fit if the beanie is thoroughly wetted and air dried.
Kiwanda Dry Bag
Is the exterior zip pocket waterproof?
The exterior zip pocket on the Kiwanda Dry Bag is water resistant/splash-proof which is perfect for small personal items you’d like to access easily like keys, a compact wallet, or ID. But please keep in mind that this pocket is not entirely waterproof, so store your moisture sensitive items accordingly (in the main compartment).
How do I make sure the bag is properly sealed?
We recommend to roll the top of the bag at least three times before fastening it. Air should not be able to escape from the bag when properly sealed. If the closure is rolled with a pocket of air inside, the Kiwanda Dry Bag will float safely if dropped in or carried along the surface of the water but please keep in mind that if completely submerged, water pressure will drive moisture into the closure over time. In other words, the Kiwanda Dry Bag is designed for only very brief periods of complete submersion.
